Front-end development
Once the design has been signed off, whether it's mine or another designers, I would commence the front-end development.
This is done more often than not using the Bootstrap framework, which basically gives me access to some pre-defined elements and a responsive framework to build on. The design would then be broken down into sections and re-built on top of the default styles that Bootstrap provides. So in effect I am creating a custom design theme to override the base styles, making the development process much more efficient and therefore cost effective.
Once I have built the required pages and tested both on various device types and the main browsers I would then present them to you for sign off. I work locally to begin with, before moving the files to my staging/development server. This is a white label domain setup (https://www.indev.website/YOUR...), making things easier when working with other agencies.
Only when you are happy with how these templates/pages look and work online do I move onto the next stage, which is usually integrating either WordPress, ExpressionEngine or when e-commerce WooCommerce.
